Joseph Schooling has shrugged off a sluggish start to his SEA Games campaign by pipping teammate Quah Zheng Wen to the 100m butterfly title. Schooling was beaten to the 50m fly crown in his first race on Dec 5. His win came as Team Singapore clinched three golds in the pool on Dec 6. Schooling touched the wall in 51.84 seconds, a mere 0.03 seconds ahead of his teammate. With the results, both Schooling and Quah qualify for the Olympics.
