The atmosphere was noticeably spaced out in comparison to how spaced out I generally already am anyway, but it was symptomatic of adjustment to a different pace of living, which is good, in comparison to being spaced out for reasons like because you're under assault, for example. This place had it's sketchy elements but for the most part it was a positive experience so long as it was understood that it was temporary. I had it figured out before I ever even came judging by information from outside sources that this wouldn't be a permanent implant, but I could definitely deal with places that are similar in the ways that are relevant.
