8 Hacks To Promote Your Music In 2020 || The Family B TV

8 Hacks To Promote Your Music In 2020 || The Family B TV Did you release new music and don’t know how to promote it correctly.
Stick around and I’ll tell you how to do it in this video: 8 Hacks To Promote Your Music In 2020 || The Family B TV

1 invest money for add promotion
Now the best way to advertise your music would be with Facebook and
Instagram ads.
The reason Facebook ads are better than Google ads is because when
you use Facebook you’re not just promoting one of your songs or one
of your music videos . You’re promoting yourself as a brand. You
promote your official Facebook page and Instagram account.

2 be active on social media
Second way to promote your music is to be active on social media. Share behind the scenes moments of the music video shoot. Photos from the studio, sneak peek of your next single and other authentic photos. Also post as many stories as you can. It’s not a secret that people first of all watch stories and then they scroll through the feed.
And last but not least leave some comments under the posts of people
that you follow. Don’t spam them.

3 start a YouTube channel
YouTube is still popping. The average YouTube user visits the site 14
times per month, spending an average of 25 minutes on the site each
time. So my advice would be: Star a YouTube channel. There are many
benefits of having a YouTube channel

4 make Tik Tok videos
You know who dictates the music trends now? Tik Tok. If you’re young,
you know this already. If you old you need to get familiar with Tik Tok.
Tik Tok is this app, this video platform where kids, youngsters and now
unfortunately old people got on it too, do different types of videos not
longer than 1 minute usually involving music, dance and comedy skits.
So basically many songs got popular on Tik Tok in 2018-19. Songs like:
Old Town Road(with a huge success) , Roxanne, Dance Monkey, Yellow
hearts, Woah, No Idea and many others. So what you have to do is: get
your music on Tik Tok (you can do that with your music distributor) and
make some videos on it. Start different challenges with your song and
make sure to tell your friends who are on this app to be a part of this
challenge and make videos on your music as well.

5 reach out to Youtubers
You need to do that if you don’t wanna start a YouTube channel and
you have money. So what you have to do is contact a YouTuber and ask
them for promotion. Doing that is very simple. Head to their channel,
click on the about tab, find their email. Big channels usually have many
emails, you need the business one. And just send them an email asking
for promotion.

6 hit the clubs at open mics
As much as you need to be present online you also have to be present
on the stage. People need to see you perform. Usually people go to the
clubs to have fun, so they drink and some people are so much better
when they drink (Full disclosure I do not promote drinking). And you
have a much better chance to be liked by drunk people who is having a
good night. That doesn’t apply to scandalous people. And aside from
people who are having fun in the clubs, there are also promoters,
managers, club owners, people that you really have to impress and
people who can help your future career. That means you have to make
sure you perform everytime you have a chance.

7 Perform at local colleges and sport events.
It’s not a secret that music career is a young man’s game(and woman).
And you have to be liked by young people, cause old people don’t like
discovering new music, they always say: in my days music was better or
in my days this and that. So what I’m saying is, you need to perform for
teenagers and young people, you need to make Them like you. And
where else to do that if not at local colleges or schools. Take advantage
of available college and school performances.

8 Submit your music for Spotify playlists
I hope it’s not a secret for you that many people stream music heavily
on Spotify. So if your music is already there, you need to submit it to
different playlists. That’s how people discover new music. So what you
have to do is either submit your upcoming songs to official Spotify
playlists or get in contact with different unofficial Spotify playlists
owners and submit your music to their playlists.
