Floppy Music | Crypt of the Necrodancer (Danny Baranowsky) - Disco Descent (14 FDD + HDD)

This is the theme from level 1-1 from "Crypt of the Necrodancer".
The original was composed by Danny Baranowsky and is now played by 14 floppy disk drives and one hard disk.

The audio was recorded individually from each drive with 2 Rode M5 microphones and mixed to resemble the original sound and positions closely but as clear as possible.
There is a slight asynchronity in the beginning between the video and audio for a few seconds i had not noticed while mixing.

The LED matrix shows live midi notes received by the floppy controller.
